Emily Pogorelc makes her role and house debut as Sophie in a new production of Richard Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier at Opernhaus Zürich. Directed by Lydia Steier, the new staging is brought to life through the striking aesthetic vision of Austrian artist Gottfried Helnwein, and features Diana Damrau as the Marschallin, Angela Brower as Octavian, and Günther Groissböck as Baron Ochs. The production led by Joana Mallwitz, as conductor.
